Project Appleseed will be putting on a 2 day rifle clinic for Interlake Sporting Association on June 3rd and 4th. This clinic teaches to a 4 Minute Of Angle standard for field shooting positions - standing, sitting, kneeling & prone. You will learn the 6 steps of firing a shot, how to zero your rifle using Inches, Minutes & Clicks, how to use a sling as a marksmanship aid, how to set up and use your Natural Point Of Aim and more - everything you need to know to engage a 20" target out to 500 yards or the Rifleman's quarter mile.

You'll need:

  • Rifle preferably zeroed for 25 meters
  • At least 500 rounds of ammo for a two day event
  • At least 250 rounds of ammo for a one day event
  • At least 250 rounds of ammo for a Known Distance event
  • Sight adjustment tools
  • GI style web Sling (as seen here at the The Appleseed Store)

  • Instructions for your rifle (if you have them)
  • Know your rifle
  • Something to cover your rifle to keep blowing sand or rain off it.
  • Staple gun, or thumb tacks, or push-pins.
  • Staples
  • Know the laws of the State you are going to and only bring that which is within the law
  • Back-up rifle (if you have one)
